the CHALLENGE: The assignment was to edit pre-existing footage of pre-eminent experts talking about the future of AI. However, there was a real disconnect between the quality of the film, the dryness of the interviews and the thrilling possibilities of this technology.
the IDEA: Scrap the talking head footage, take the best audio content from the interviews and use animation to show the vast, complicated and beautiful story of the possibilities of AI.
Intel: Neuromorphic Computing
the CHALLENGE: Learn what Neuromorphic Computing is…THEN showcase a new chip that learns the way the human brain does.
the IDEA: This idea is based on music. Every concert pianist starts with their first note as a child and becomes an expert over the course of their life. Working with a composer, we created a track that started out simple and sparse and became robust and complicated. This map to the progression of applications of A.I., starting with a very specialized use case and watching the technology grow and learn over time until it is immersed in daily life.
